I am a trained, qualified Person Centered Therapist and I am a member of the BACP.
What on earth does that mean I hear you cry!
It means the therapy I offer is talking based and I’ll be able to help you grow your self-awareness so you can see how your feelings influence how you live your life. You can follow this link to my blog post which goes into more detail about how my style of counselling works.
The BACP - British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists - is a charity who provide support for counsellors and being a member is kind of like being CORGI registered. It means that I work ethically and I have guidelines to follow to work in a professional manner.
I say I'm the friendly therapist because I’m a friendly, non-judging and approachable person.
I’m not rigid and formal during client sessions because I’d rather be myself with you than be ‘the expert’, as no-ones an expert when it comes to life!
If you decide to get in touch we’ll have a free mini session over the phone. You can raise any concerns you may have and I’ll briefly ask some questions to make sure I offer you the support you need.
